How many hours do you paint at my event?

I will arrive 1-2 hours before your event to set up, then paint live for 5 additional hours during the event, totaling 6-7 hours. Afterward, I will finalize details and make any finishing touches in the studio.

My style is impressionistic, focusing on capturing light, shadow, and the overall ambiance of the moment.

Any type of events such as weddings, quinceañeras, anniversaries, corporate, etc.

The process is to paint live from observations, but any slight changes could be done.

It’s best to book as early as possible, as availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

That is not a problem, I definitely could paint from a photo either before or after the wedding. With this flexibility it would be more affordable and I could work at my own pace.

We currently have four wedding packages: Fantastic, Extraordinary, Outstanding and Masterpiece. Any other sizes or add on interested on, let us know.

Currently our packages are for painting the bride and groom and if needed the pets. Add-ons such as an additional painting or pre-event portraits (e.g. of a late family member), created from photos could be arranged and taken to the wedding.

We offer a 5% discount for first responders, including police, paramedics, nurses, firefighters, and search-and-rescue members, with valid ID.

You can decide up to a few days before the event which moment you’d like captured, such as the first look, first kiss, first dance, or ceremony exit.

What is a live painting?

This is a visual art piece which is performed in a public place such as a wedding, reception, public event etc, where the art is created live catching the essence of the moment. From a blank canvas to a finished portrait.

A non-refundable retainer of $500 is required to hold your date. This retainer will be deducted from the total package price. Once we confirm your event date’s availability, I’ll send over a contract and offer a payment schedule.

Yes, we can customize a payment plan after the initial deposit. We accept cash, credit card payments and PayPal.

A space of approximately 5′ x 5′ is ideal, allowing room for an easel, chair, table, and painting materials. I’m flexible and can work with your venue’s layout. We recommend a location where guests can easily view the painting.

I am based in Miami, Florida (South Florida). Travel is included for up to 50 miles round-trip. Additional mileage incurs a travel fee, which can be discussed based on your event location.

Yes! Many of our live paintings have been arranged as surprises from friends or family for the bride and groom.

Painting is done with professional quality water based acrylic paints on a stretched canvas. I use the Master’s Touch Grandeur Collection which is a premium canvas made from high quality and is extra heavy making it thick and sturdy. The gallery-style edges are staple-free. I leave the white edges (sides) unpainted for a professional look, unless asked to be painted and will be free of charge.

The painting does not come framed but is ready to hang directly on the wall.

Yes, Breto Colors is a dba under Breto Signs, Inc. I could provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your venue or planner upon request, once a contract is signed.

It’s not mandatory, but you may choose to provide a vendor meal if you wish.

I’m flexible with attire depending on the event. For outdoor or farm venues, I prefer wearing a Guayabera. For indoor or formal events, I can wear a suit or attire that matches the event’s formality.

The painting will be finalized and delivered within 4-6 weeks following the event.

If local you may come and pick it up or we will deliver to you. If not local we will ship the paint for you free of charge since its included in the package rate. The painting will arrive ready to hand.
